Privacy Policy

Plan My Park (planmypark.com) is a free family theme park planner. We keep this simple: we collect only what the planner needs, we never sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and, if you choose, your name. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We don't get your Google password.
- Your trip plan: what you enter, such as dates, hotel, park days, rankings, reservations, and the people in your group (first names or nicknames, ages, heights for kids under 48 inches, and ride or food preferences).
- Test mode: if you try the planner without an account, your plan stays in your own browser until you create an account.
- Visit statistics: a random visit ID (and a random ID kept in your browser to count return visits), how many minutes the page was open and in use, whether you used a phone or computer, which website sent you, and whether you used test mode or created an account. We don't use cookies or outside analytics services for this.
- Emails you ask for: trip reminders and invitations you send to family.
How we use it
- To run the planner and save your trip.
- To share your trip with the people you invite.
- To send emails you signed up for (account confirmations, reminders and invitations). Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and every one has a way to stop them.
- To understand, in total numbers, how people use the site so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. We use a few service providers to run the site, and they handle data only for us:
- Supabase: database and sign-in
- Cloudflare: website hosting and the "are you human" check
- Resend: sending email
- Google: only if you choose "Sign in with Google"
Links to park apps, restaurants, maps and videos open those sites, which have their own privacy policies. In the future, some links may be affiliate links (for example, travel gear, hotels or tickets). If you buy through them, that site may tell us a sale happened, but not who you are.
Children
Accounts are for adults planning trips. Details about kids in a group (like a first name, age and height) are entered by a parent or guardian to plan rides. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Your choices
- Edit or delete anything in your trip at any time.
- Remove people you've shared a trip with.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything in it by emailing hello@planmypark.com.
Keeping it safe
Your data is stored with Supabase, protected with sign-in and database rules so only you and the people you invite can see your trips. No system is perfect, so please don't enter sensitive information you don't need for planning.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For big changes we'll let account holders know by email.
